Title: The secret diary of Tiddles, Aged 3 3/4

Author: Gemma Correll

Genre(s): Cats

My rating: 5/5 stars

Advice age: Every animal (or person) who can read about cats, and who can understand cats (so actually it's just cats, as said by my cat).

Pages: 64

Publisher: Dog 'n' bone (my cat finds this very weird)

Themes: Cats

Representation: Cats

Content warnings: If you’re a dog, this book is not for you. Cats talk bad about dogs. Be warned.

When I saw this book in the second-hand-store, I had to take it home with me. It just looked like such a funny read. And I was right. I loved this book. I laughed almost every page, because a lot is also just so recognizable. We have two cats at home, and I could picture them in a lot of those situations as well.

The way this book was written, like an actual diary, made this book even more fun. It felt like an actual cat could have written it, and I enjoyed the pictures as well. It made the entire story come to life even more. Anyways, the author uses good humor in this book, and it makes this story perfect for any cat lovers. It also makes you think: well, my cat does that too. So if you’re ever worried your cat is the only cat doing something, it’s probably not the only one.

It’s also a pretty short read, because the book is not that long, and there’s also more pictures than text, but still this book is worth reading. You will laugh if you have cats, so I really recommend this book to every cat (owner). Would not recommend this book to dogs

I already saw my cat staring at me writing this review, while holding the book, and I don’t want them to come after me while being asleep. So in this book there’s cats everywhere, could not name it enough. It’s about cats. Good cats, of course.
